PROOF OF PURITY OF METAL:
After completion, the testing is done at the MSME testing centre, which has been set up by the Ministry of Micron, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India at Chennai. A sample of the same bell metal is tested.
Indian Grade :
Copper – 76.10%, TIN – 20.55%
Export Grade :
Copper – 76.70%, TIN – 22.41%
WASTAGE:
Like in all metallurgy works the process of making a bell involves chipping, turning, grinding & rough polishing in which there is a loss of metal. This wasted metal is not fit for use again.
INSPECTION:
On receiving the intimation of completion of work, an inspection to ensure weight, sound, etc., can be done by you before despatch / collection at our premises, of the finished bell.
